Problem-Based Learning Authentic Real World Applications
Problem-based learning (PBL) is a dynamic approach to teaching in which students explore real-world problems. With this type of active and engaged learning, students are inspired to obtain a deeper knowledge of the subjects they're studying. Students will gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an engaging and complex question or challenge. Below you will find more information on what PBLs are, as well as, various PBL activities developed by Renegade Apples that could be used in grade levels 2-5.
